Indentations and dentations on the chewing surfaces of grinder teeth anatomically form regions for the foods to adhere. Fissure sealants cover these surfaces on teeth and help to form a surface to decrease holding of foods and to ease brushing. It is known that decrease is substantially seen in decay formation after the clinical applications.
